This was a delightful spur-of-the-moment stay during our travels. We loved the historic charm combined with all of the desired modern amenities, offered at a good price. A great place to mix with the locals and enjoy good food in a convenient location near the train station. They provided a very tasty traditional English breakfast, and the hotel is within walking distance of all the great stops in Penrith. We enjoyed getting to know the owner, who has put a lot of effort and passion into renovations. I will definitely recommend the Station Hotel to friends and stay here again next time we pass through!
